Il est cor\u00e9dacteur en chef de la revue litt\u00e9raire en ligne <em>En attendant Nadeau<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Germaniste distingu\u00e9 et essayiste, il a \u00e9galement \u00e9crit des essais sur Walter Benjamin (Walter Benjamin, Les chemins du labyrinthe, 2005) et sur Goethe (Goethe, La nostalgie de la lumi\u00e8re, 2007), \u00e9tablissant une \u00e9dition fran\u00e7aise remarqu\u00e9e de son Voyage en Italie.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">R\u00e9sidant \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de V\u00e9zelay charg\u00e9 de symboles, intellectuel sensible \u00e0 la vie litt\u00e9raire qui s&rsquo;y est install\u00e9e avec les figures incontournables de Romain Rolland ou de Max Pol Fouchet, Jean LACOSTE rend ici hommage \u00e0 la colline de V\u00e9zelay, \u00e0 son histoire et \u00e0 la fascination qu&rsquo;elle suscite. Les touristes ont remplac\u00e9 les crois\u00e9s en partance pour J\u00e9rusalem ou les p\u00e8lerins au d\u00e9part vers Saint Jacques de Compostelle, mais les lieux exercent toujours une forte attraction.
