N\u00e9 \u00e0 Casablanca (Maroc) en 1953, Pierre ASSOULINE<\/strong> est journaliste.<\/p>\n

Romancier et biographe, il s’est pench\u00e9 sur les destins de Marcel Dassault, Georges Simenon, Gaston Gallimard, Albert Londres ou Herg\u00e9. Il est aussi romancier (\u00ab\u00a0Le fleuve Combelle\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Lutetia\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0La cliente\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0Double vie\u00a0\u00bb) et fut membre du comit\u00e9 de r\u00e9daction du mensuel \u00ab\u00a0Lire\u00a0\u00bb dont il devient le r\u00e9dacteur en chef en 1993. Pierre ASSOULINE est \u00e9galement charg\u00e9 de conf\u00e9rence \u00e0 l’Institut d’\u00e9tudes politiques de Paris. Il collabore \u00e0 la revue \u00ab\u00a0L’Histoire\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

En 2007, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 le laur\u00e9at du Prix de la langue fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n

Son blog, intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0La R\u00e9publique des livres\u00a0\u00bb est centr\u00e9 sur l’information relative \u00e0 la litt\u00e9rature et \u00e0 son actualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Au cours de l’entretien r\u00e9alis\u00e9 fin mars 2011 au Sofitel La Cloche de Dijon, Pierre ASSOULINE revient sur \u00ab\u00a0Vies de Job<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb (Ed. Gallimard<\/em>). Il \u00e9voque la figure biblique de Job. Le biographe parle de la mort de son fr\u00e8re et de son p\u00e8re, et rend hommage \u00e0 son ami, l’\u00e9crivain Fran\u00e7ois Nourissier.<\/p>\n
