Il est le Cid, idole d\u2019une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration qui se bat pour servir sous ses ordres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C\u2019est aussi un prince malheureux en amour, mari\u00e9 de force \u00e0 une ni\u00e8ce de Richelieu qu\u2019il a d\u00e9test\u00e9e d\u00e8s le premier jour. Il en aime une autre, la charmante Marthe du Vigean.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c0 Paris, c\u2019est la Fronde. La famille royale s\u2019enfuit \u00e0 Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Pour la seconde fois, Cond\u00e9 sauve la monarchie en organisant le si\u00e8ge de Paris. Le 18 janvier 1650, Mazarin, jaloux, l\u2019emprisonne au donjon de Vincennes. Il y reste treize mois. \u00c0 sa lib\u00e9ration, exig\u00e9e par le Parlement, le cardinal part en exil. C\u2019est la seconde Fronde, celle des princes. L\u2019Espagne h\u00e9rite du h\u00e9ros dont r\u00eavent tous les souverains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 1661, \u00e0 la mort de Mazarin, Louis XIV reconna\u00eet son erreur. La conqu\u00eate de la Franche-Comt\u00e9 en dix-sept jours \u00e9blouit le Roi-Soleil. Apr\u00e8s ses derniers exploits, le Grand Cond\u00e9 se retire dans son ch\u00e2teau de Chantilly. Il y d\u00e9fend le Tartuffe de Moli\u00e8re, invite \u00e0 sa table arros\u00e9e de bons vins de Bourgogne libertins et j\u00e9suites, philosophes et jans\u00e9nistes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">B\u00e9atrix de l\u2019Aulnoit \u00e9claire d\u2019un jour nouveau le duel entre le prince du sang et le Premier ministre italien dont la reine r\u00e9gente, Anne d\u2019Autriche, refuse de se s\u00e9parer, deux hommes si diff\u00e9rents qu\u2019ils finissent par se ha\u00efr \u00e0 mort.
